ABOUT J

At a young age, J MODERNIST's founder "J" knew she wanted to do something creative.  J developed her love of visual arts while living all over the country (NY, SF, CHI, DEN, ATL, & SoCAL) and traveling internationally.  She spent several years in Corporate Marketing heading up branding, advertising and promotions. She enjoys visiting art museums whereever work or travel takes her. As a personal interest, J would help friends and family with design/decorating advice and ideas. Her decorating interests included hunting for unique pieces of art as well as creating her own art pieces. In 2015, J decided to combine her passion for decorating and design with her business background to start J MODERNIST.

J currently resides in Southern California with her family. In her spare time you can usually find her in the art studio creating unique, art pieces that also serve as functional ware, paper crafting, or relaxing while painting stationery cards or canvas.
